Methods

I research prosodic prominence at the XLinC Lab of the Department of German Language and Literature I. To this end, I design, program and analyze speech production studies, speech perception studies, eyetracking studies and reaction time studies.

During data analysis, I find it important to supplement inferential hypothesis testing with explorative methods like cluster analysis or PCA. I use the open source programming language R for data analysis.
