In my research in semantics/pragmatics, syntax and prosody I apply various experimental methods (e.g. acceptability judgments, reading times, semantic intuitions, speech production, memory tests) to test theoretical-linguistic and psycholinguistic hypotheses.

The experiments are conducted on the web as well as locally here in Cologne: in the XLinC-Lab of the Department of German Language and Literature I, where I manage the speech production lab, where sound recordings are made and reaction time and other experiments are run.
