International Workshop "Datives in Discourse"
The International Workshop Datives in Discourse took place at the University of Cologne (Germany), October 25-26 2018, in the framework of the series "Workshops on Referential Expressions in Discourse (RED)". It was organized by Klaus von Heusinger (University of Cologne) and Alina Tigău (University of Bucharest and University of Cologne).
The workshop dwelled on recent experimental and theoretical research in syntax, semantics and pragmatics and focused on aspects revolving around dative structures (ditransitives, applicatives, quirky subjects etc.) and their semantic and pragmatic effects on discourse structure.
